SITEPULSE FAQ

SitePulse is a data infrastructure and intelligence company based in the United Stated. The company leverages AI and statistical models, scalable IoT hardware, and a secure, cloud-based analytics platform to deliver actionable data to enterprise, advertising, and finance partners.

Rooted in the nationwide physical device network, SitePulse used machine learning to develop in-house AI + Statistical models to cross validate between different data collection methods to increase confidence and reduce error.

Most foot traffic and location intelligence platforms rely solely on mobile data sets collected from mobile devices to generate location-based insights. There are many downsides to this collection method, namely:

  • Mobile datasets come from device pings. Devices must be at a specific setting, such as using a certain app and/or allowing certain permissions, to send out pings. This means that only a portion of devices are visible in the dataset.
  • Pings are sent out sparsely, sometimes once every hour or couple of hours. This characteristic makes visitor count, dwell time, and visit frequency data much less reliable.
  • Aggregated from various apps, services, and other providers, mobile dataset have inconsistent data quality.

By augmenting the mobile datasets with real-world high-resolution device data and AI statistical models, SitePulse can "upscale" the low-resolution datasets into high-quality insights, anywhere standard mobile datasets reach.

SitePulse offers up to 2 years of historical data.
The minimum purchasable unit is one calendar month of data for a single location.

Once purchased, your request enters our processing queue and is prioritized based on system volume. Most data requests are fulfilled within a few hours to one day. Larger bulk purchases may take longer.

If you have specific volume or timing requirements, please contact SitePulse so we can support your needs.

SitePulse data is collected from hundreds of sources and undergoes processing, cross-validation, and AI analysis before presenting to customers. As a result, there is a standard 7-day delay in availability. For example, data from the 1st of the month becomes available on the 9th.

Complete monthly datasets are typically available by the 9th of the following month. If you purchase data before that date, you will receive access to available days as they are released.

Pricing is based on the volume of visitors and overall traffic at each location. Locations are categorized into 4 tiers based on the activity level: small, medium, large, and extra large. For reference, a large box store with lots of visitors, such as a Walmart, would generally fall into the large tier.
SitePulse allows up to 15 users by default per account at no additional charge because SitePulse charges for data, not by user. Adding more than 15 users to an account is possible upon request.

SitePulse's data covers the United States. Contact SitePulse if you have data needs outside the United States.

SitePulse does not provide data on sensitive locations such as houses of worship, hospitals, and residences.
